In Matthew 22:37-40 we learn that the love for God and the love for our neighbour are the two main commendments on which God built all His religions. These two types of love demand from us the development of our virtues. Genesis 9:12 speaks about the great and eternal Covenant of God with man, which will last for perpetual generations. In other words: in all His revelations and religions the love for God and the love for our neighbour are and always will be the nucleus are which all other teachings revolve.
