Since our creation, the development of sciences, arts and technology has only been very gradual. Hence the almost horizontal line at the bottom of this graphic. However, since the revelations of Bahá\'u'lláh - which lasted for 40 years )* - the progress in the fields of sciences, arts and technology, has been explosive and is gaining an ever greater momentum even to this present day. In barely 175 years our planet has become a totally different world.
)* Micah 7:10 speaks about the One to come from Assyria in the time of the end (of an era) and in 7:15 He foretold that the suffering from this Person [Bahá\'u'lláh] would last: “According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt”, which was 40 years.
